Five things made in Canada for under $300
We went looking for things made in Canada that cost under $300, and we came back with five. Making things in this country costs money, and most of what we find starts above three hundred dollars. These five do not.
Two of them come out of a glass studio in Whitehorse, Yukon, where Luann and Mel Baker-Johnson blow every piece by hand. The other three come from one man's shop in Balmoral, Manitoba, where Marc Liss cuts his blades out of old sawmill steel. We would keep all five.
